Tesa Saulmon, LMHC CSAT NCC (Virtual, Intensives In-Person)
Tesa’s Approach
My work is centered on helping people heal at the deepest levels after betrayal, trauma, and addiction have shaken their sense of safety, identity, and faith. I stay with you through the hard, disorienting parts, not rushing healing and not minimizing pain. Together, we make sense of what you are feeling, why your body and mind are responding the way they are, and how to move forward in a way that feels both grounded and honest.
We will explore how past experiences, attachment wounds, trauma, and survival strategies are shaping your present struggles. As we gently shift unhelpful patterns and build emotional and relational safety, you will begin to feel less ruled by fear, shame, and hypervigilance. Healing often includes letting go of old ways you once needed to survive, while holding compassion and grace for the version of you that did the best they could with what they had.
My goal is not just symptom relief, but deep restoration. I want you to experience steadiness, clarity, and hope, even when life feels shattered.
If you:
-
Are reeling from betrayal, infidelity, or sexual addiction and feel emotionally overwhelmed or unsafe
-
Long for connection but feel guarded, distrustful, or unsure how to move toward it
-
Struggle with shame, self-blame, or a fractured sense of self-worth
-
Feel stuck between wanting healing and feeling afraid of what healing might require
-
Want faith to be part of your healing without spiritual bypassing or pressure
I'll help you:
-
Understand your emotional and trauma responses and learn how to regulate them
-
Identify your needs, establish healthy boundaries, and rebuild a sense of internal safety
-
Process betrayal trauma, sexual trauma, and attachment wounds with care and structure
-
Rebuild trust with yourself and, when appropriate, within your relationships
-
Integrate faith, truth, and grace in a way that supports healing rather than silencing pain
More About Tesa
I come to this work not only as a therapist, but as a wounded healer. I know firsthand the devastation of betrayal and the disorientation trauma can bring. Addiction has shaped my life deeply as well, as both of my parents are in recovery. These lived experiences give me a profound respect for the courage it takes to seek help and a deep attunement to the pain my clients carry.
Therapy has been transformational in my own life, especially spaces where I was allowed to show up honestly, with my faith, my grief, my anger, and my questions intact. I have learned that healing often brings us back to repairing our relationship with ourselves, with God, and with others. Sitting with my own complexity has shaped how I sit with my clients, with steadiness, compassion, and truth.
I strive to create a space that is emotionally safe and deeply respectful, while also being direct and grounded when denial, avoidance, or self-protection are getting in the way of healing. I believe you deserve honesty paired with kindness.

Faith Integration
If you desire, I am honored to integrate a Christian worldview into our work. My faith has sustained me in seasons when healing felt impossible. I believe God is gentle with the brokenhearted and present in the mess, not waiting for you to be healed before meeting you. Faith in therapy with me is never forced and never used to bypass grief, anger, or boundaries. It is invited as a source of truth, comfort, and hope.
