Tesa Saulmon, CSAT-Candidate

Hi, my name is Tesa Saulmon and I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, license number IMH22565, in the state of Florida.

After growing up with parents who suffered from substance use, being sexually assaulted, and struggling with depression in my early 20s, I know what it’s like to feel “lost.” Through working on my mental health, I’ve learned how to navigate trauma and face my depression. I want you to know that we can work through your challenges together. Therapy is a journey and a collaborative process that we are in together.

I help individuals, couples, and families with:

Trauma, Sexual Addiction, Substance Use Addiction, Sexual Betrayal, Infidelity, Sexual Assault or Abuse histories

I believe in a client-centered approach to counseling. My experience has led me to specialize in working with individuals who have experienced past traumas, including sexual trauma, betrayal trauma and infidelity, and addictions. My primary goal is to provide a safe and compassionate environment where individuals can begin their healing journey through curiosity, personal development, and learning. I believe that the life we want is within reach, and I am committed to helping my clients discover it.

If the client desires, I am more than willing to incorporate a Christian perspective into our sessions. My personal faith has been a source of comfort and strength during times when it felt like nothing could improve. I firmly believe that Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for us, and that God's word offers us compassion, understanding, and forgiveness. In my opinion, God is the ultimate counselor, and by allowing Him to guide us through our struggles with hurt, pain, and loss, we can find the light that will lead us out of the darkness.
