Chandria Carter
Hi, my name is Chandria Carter, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern in the state of Florida. I hold a bachelor’s degree in health science from the University of North Florida and
am currently pursuing my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.
My professional background in healthcare, education, and ministry has shaped an integrative approach to counseling that values healing emotionally, physically, and spiritually. My heart is to pour into people in a way that reminds them they are seen, known, and deeply loved. I believe everyone is on a journey, and it is one of the greatest honors to walk alongside individuals as they seek healing, clarity, and hope. I am passionate about serving couples, children, and young adults, as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, and relational challenges. I also have direct experience in substance abuse counseling and in working with children, which has strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are and tailor support to their unique needs.
In session, I strive to create a safe, grace-filled space where clients feel accepted without judgment. My approach combines empathy and clinical excellence through evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). More than anything, I want each client to know you are welcome here, you are loved, and you are not alone. At a client’s request, I am honored to integrate a biblical perspective into our work together.
Whether you are carrying emotional wounds, searching for purpose, or longing to feel whole again, my prayer is that you leave each session feeling empowered, encouraged, and uplifted.
